At Northern Beaches Health & Performance we offer professional nutritional advice to optimise how your body functions and feels. We work with athletes to fuel their body effectively for training and performance as well as disordered eating and anyone with a medical condition who wants to get the best out of their body.

Our Dietetics Approach

Food is to be enjoyed and used to nourish your body with the things it needs to function well and feel great. There are no “healthy /good” or “unhealthy /bad” foods, there is a place for all foods in routines and it is OK to include some foods just for fun. I assist my clients work out and focus on what their body needs and what works best for them.

Our Dietitian can help with:

  • Improving athletic performance.
  • Individuals and athletes with disordered eating / eating disorders.
  • Anyone wanting support their health and activity
  • Individuals and athletes with any medical conditions requiring nutrition therapy. This includes cardiovascular issues, insulin resistance, diabetes, PCOS, IBS and other diagnosed gut issues.
  • Vegetarian and Vegan eating.
  • Pregnancy and post natal nutrition.

Finding the right consultation for you:

Initial consultation (Face to Face and Telehealth)

This is where we get to know each other. We discuss your history, your goals, start developing a plan for how we reach those goals. We also discuss and start to plan out treatment/education – this involves the likely length of time for treatment or number of consultations may work best for your particular situation.

Review consultation (Face to Face and Telehealth)

Continue the education process, review plans from last session, check progress and discuss next steps.

Workshops and Group sessions

A wide variety of sessions focusing on nutrition and performance for athletes, sporting clubs and companies. If you have a topic in mind, or wish to discuss what would be of interest to your group send a message through the contact us page.

As an APD you can claim medicare benefits if you have been referred by your GP on an EPC plan or and Eating Disorder Plan.

If you have private health cover (and are covered for Dietitian services) you can claim a portion of the fee through your health fund.
